C-evo: Distant Horizon is an empire-building strategy game in the tradition of Civilization II. Explore the map, develop cities, research technology, and plan diplomatic and military decisions over many turns. Custom unit design and demanding computer opponents make careful preparation important. Victory comes from being the first civilization to build a spaceship. An extensive in-game manual helps explain the systems, and automatic saves protect progress. Distant Horizon is Peter's fork of C-evo: New Horizons, itself based on the original C-evo; it is not the commercial Civilization series. Choose a Windows package on the official files page.
