The download is the original English freeware release made with WOLF RPG Editor, separate from later commercial remakes. Which version is this? Original freeware 2.08; later paid remakes are separate products. How do I install Mad Father (Original Freeware)? Download MadFather208.zip, extract the whole ZIP to its own folder, then run Game.exe. Keep the bundled data, fonts and libraries with the game. Do not run it from inside the ZIP if you want saves to persist. Run Game.exe rather than Config.exe to play. The translator’s page explains font troubleshooting if text is missing or startup stalls. It is not public-domain artwork or a blanket resale license. Follow the original usage rules for streaming, fanworks and commercial use. Compatibility This is a legacy Windows game.
