What players should know
Open Realm of Stars is an independent, turn-based space strategy game by Reemax. Lead a spacefaring realm through exploration, planetary development, diplomacy, and tactical fleet battles. Design ships from researched components, assign leaders, and respond to anomalies, political tensions, and events that make each galaxy different. Military conquest is only one route to success: diplomatic, scientific, cultural, and other victory conditions encourage different empire-building plans. This is an actively evolving project, and saves may not be compatible with later versions. Download the official 0.29.0 archive, extract it, and run the included JAR with Java 11 or newer. Java is required; this listing opens the official release page rather than pretending the archive is a native Windows EXE. Code license: GPL-2.0.
