Digital Paint: Paintball 2 combines arena-shooter movement with paintball-style competition. Paintballs travel as physical projectiles, so leading a moving target and judging an arc are important skills. Speed, positioning, and coordinated flag runs can matter more than simply holding down fire. The community-developed game includes capture-the-flag, elimination, siege, and free-for-all styles of play. Its lightweight Quake II-derived engine gives it a distinctly classic PC-shooter feel. Download the official build from the team's SourceForge files and follow the project's setup instructions. The gallery and gameplay video include earlier builds; they are real game media rather than generated illustrations. Code license: GPL-2.0 for the engine; individual game content notices apply..
