Speed Dreams is a free open-source motorsport simulator built for players who want configurable racing rather than a single fixed championship. The game includes cars and tracks from different racing eras, several computer-controlled driver systems, real-time weather, multi-class events, career options, and local split-screen play. Current official builds are available for Windows and Linux, with an older macOS release also documented by the project. Code license: GPL-2.0-or-later with separately licensed components. Media/package license: Project assets use audited free licenses with per-asset attribution and exceptions documented upstream. Attribution and distribution: Speed Dreams is developed by the Speed Dreams community. Engine code and game assets are maintained in separate upstream repositories with license and attribution information supplied by the project. Independent catalog listing.
