What players should know
Extreme Tux Racer is all about momentum. Tux slides on his belly down mountain courses while you steer around trees, line up jumps, and collect fish before the clock runs out. Snow, rock, and ice change how each run feels. It is a small, straightforward racing game with a familiar penguin at the center. Learning a course and carrying speed through a turn is the appeal, whether you are trying it for the first time or coming back for a better result. Is this a complete Windows game? Yes. The official 0.8.4 MSI installer includes the game and its data. No Steam account or separate commercial game is required. Where does the download come from? The Extreme Tux Racer project's SourceForge release, not a NeonRoof-hosted copy. The video is community gameplay of version 0.8.4. Screenshots come from the official SourceForge gallery. Independent catalog listing. NeonRoof is not affiliated with or endorsed by this project's developers. Downloads are provided by the project's official distribution source.
