Oolite is a free and open-source 3D space trading and combat simulator inspired by the freedom and danger of classic Elite. Begin with a modest ship, travel between star systems, trade cargo, hunt pirates, take contracts, improve your equipment, and decide what kind of commander you want to become. Version 1.92 modernizes the Windows build with improved rendering, HDR and wide-color support, expanded controller and keyboard configuration, accessibility options, and a built-in manager for a vast library of community expansion packs. Oolite source code is GPL-2.0-or-later, with project resources covered by the licenses documented by the Oolite team.
