What are you discovering in Cube?
Cube is the 2005 original, not Cube 2: Sauerbraten. Its compact engine mixes outdoor maps with tight first-person shooting, while its real-time map editor lets players change the terrain together. Play solo against monsters or join a multiplayer arena. What is the Windows download? The last 2005 Win32 installer from the project's original SourceForge account. It is a legacy release, so NeonRoof has not promised that modern public servers or every Windows compatibility setting will work. The installer contains the game; it is not merely an engine that asks for commercial files. The cover uses an original Cube gameplay image because the 2005 project has no conventional box art. The gallery contains additional genuine Cube screenshots, not images from Cube 2. The video shows the original Cube game. License and credits The original Cube engine source is under the zlib license. Bundled maps, textures, and other media may have separate authors and notices. Cover and screenshots are credited to the original game and their Wikimedia Commons file pages, including Michael Beer and Wouter van Oortmerssen. The game installer is linked unchanged from its project account. Downloads come directly from the original project. NeonRoof does not host or repackage the game files. Independent catalog listing. NeonRoof is not affiliated with or endorsed by this project's developers. Downloads are provided by the project's official distribution source.
