Dwarf Fortress Classic asks you to guide a group of dwarves into a living world. Carve rooms, grow food, manage trade and industry, and watch a story emerge from everything that can go right or spectacularly wrong. This is Bay 12's free Classic Windows edition with its traditional interface, not the paid graphical Steam release. The archive comes directly from Bay 12 Games. Its official screenshots show the Classic interface; the video is a community guide and may show a different version.
