Freedoom is a complete free-content first-person shooter project built for Doom-compatible engines. It includes Phase 1, Phase 2, and FreeDM, covering two single-player campaigns and a dedicated multiplayer map set. Freedoom supplies original levels, textures, sprites, sound effects, and music, but players must pair its WAD files with a compatible engine such as GZDoom, Odamex, or another port listed by the project. Code license: BSD-3-Clause. Media/package license: BSD-3-Clause. Attribution and distribution: Freedoom is created by the Freedoom project and its contributors. The complete game content is published under the BSD 3-Clause license. A separate compatible engine is required. Independent catalog listing. NeonRoof is not affiliated with or endorsed by this project's developers. Downloads are provided by the project's official distribution source.
