GearHead: Arena gives you a character to build and a world to get lost in. You can explore towns, talk to people, take jobs, and fight both on foot and inside a mecha. The game combines character skills, machine customization, and a campaign whose story is assembled differently from one run to the next. Is this the original GearHead? Yes. Arena is the first GearHead RPG, separate from GearHead 2 and GearHead Caramel. This listing contains the graphical SDL Windows edition, not the ASCII-only release. Is it free? Yes.
