LBreakoutHD puts a paddle at the bottom of the screen and a wall of bricks above it. Aim your returns, catch useful extras, and keep the ball in play as the board opens up. The widescreen remake gives the long-running LBreakout formula room to breathe. It also supports LBreakout2 level sets and themes, so there is more to try once you know the standard boards. Downloads for those extras remain on the original project's website. Which version is included? This listing uses the official Windows 64-bit version 1.2 ZIP. Newer source releases are available separately for people building the game themselves. Is it free and standalone? Yes. The Windows package comes from Michael Speck's LGames project and does not require another game or storefront. The video is community gameplay footage.
