What players should know
OpenLieroX is a free real-time 2D action game inspired by Liero and the improvisational terrain combat of Worms. Players choose weapons, use a ninja rope for advanced movement, and fight across destructible maps in deathmatch, team, capture-the-flag, and modded modes. The project includes bots, LAN and online play, extensive community maps and weapon packs, customizable characters, and a built-in level editor. Code license: zlib license with bundled component-specific notices. Media/package license: Developer-hosted promotional images; separate blanket reuse license not asserted. Attribution and distribution: OpenLieroX is maintained by its open-source community and builds on Liero Xtreme, originally released by Jason Boettcher under the zlib license. Bundled libraries and media may carry separate notices. Independent catalog listing. NeonRoof is not affiliated with or endorsed by this project's developers. Downloads are provided by the project's official distribution source.
