What are you discovering in ReTux?
ReTux puts Tux into a platforming adventure built around jumping, exploration, and making good use of the objects around you. Carry things, throw things, and look beyond the obvious route through each level. Its familiar penguin and SuperTux-derived artwork sit inside a separate game with its own levels and mechanics. What kind of game is ReTux? It is a single-player, side-scrolling platformer. You control the character directly; this is not an idle game or a browser demo. Is ReTux free to download? Yes. This listing links to the project's Windows 64-bit ZIP for version 1.6.2. It contains the game executable, so you do not need to install Python to use this packaged release. The video is gameplay published by the developer. Screenshots show real levels. For controls, accessibility options, and bug reports, use the original project links on this page.
