About Blockbench

Blockbench is a free, open-source low-poly 3D model editor for game assets. It combines cuboid and mesh modeling with UV tools, an integrated texture painter, palettes, rigging, keyframe animation, graph editing, reference images, and model-format templates.

Developers can use the desktop application or the browser app, install plugins, export supported game formats, and create custom formats through the plugin API. The approachable interface is useful for voxel-style art, stylized props, animated characters, prototypes, mods, and teaching basic 3D asset workflows.

Models and textures created in Blockbench can be used commercially when the artist owns or licenses the content involved. NeonRoof links to the official downloads and documentation and does not grant rights to third-party game formats, brand assets, or community models.
