About GIMP

GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, is a free, open-source editor for photographs, illustrations, textures, and other raster graphics. It was created by Spencer Kimball and Peter Mattis and is now maintained by the GIMP Development Team.

Layers, masks, selections, color tools, painting brushes, transformations, filters, scripting, and plug-ins support both quick edits and complex compositions. GIMP provides official builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux, plus source releases for users and distributors who need to verify or build the application.

NeonRoof uses neutral artwork and attributes the GIMP project directly. The exact upstream binary and its published checksum must pass software review before NeonRoof can offer a direct download.

Independent catalog listing. NeonRoof is not affiliated with or endorsed by GIMP Development Team or the project's maintainers. The official project, creator, copyright holder, and license remain clearly credited. This catalog page may be published before a downloadable package is approved; no NeonRoof download is enabled until an administrator verifies the exact package, SHA-256 hash, malware scan, distribution rights, and applicable notices.

Rights review recorded September 8, 2026. Copyright: GIMP contributors and individual copyright holders. Redistribution: Follow GPLv3-or-later terms and preserve bundled component notices.
