Inky
Write and play-test branching game narrative in inkle's free, open-source ink editor.
About Inky
Inky is a focused editor for ink, inkle's narrative scripting language. As you write, it recompiles the story and lets you play through choices in a side pane. Syntax highlighting, live errors, and an issue browser help catch broken paths early. Inky can export compiled JSON for runtimes outside its editor; using that output in a game requires an appropriate ink integration.
The linked Windows 64-bit ZIP is published by inkle on its official GitHub release page. The ink documentation covers the language and points to runtime integrations, including Unity and JavaScript.
