About Stride Game Engine

Stride is a free, open-source C# game engine for 2D games, 3D games, VR experiences, simulations, and other interactive applications. It combines a visual editor and asset pipeline with a fully accessible .NET codebase, making it especially relevant to developers who already work in C# and Visual Studio.

The engine includes physically based rendering, a scene and entity system, animation, audio, physics integration, UI tools, profiling, templates, and a customizable rendering pipeline. Windows is the primary supported development platform, while additional deployment targets remain dependent on the current engine release.

Stride is distributed under the permissive MIT license. NeonRoof links directly to the official installer, documentation, discussions, and source so indie teams can verify current requirements before beginning a production project.

The official project, creator, copyright holder, and license remain clearly credited. This catalog page may be published before a downloadable package is approved; no NeonRoof download is enabled until an administrator verifies the exact package, SHA-256 hash, malware scan, distribution rights, and applicable notices.
