About TempleOS

TempleOS is a public-domain, 64-bit operating system created by Terry A. Davis. Davis designed and implemented the operating system, its kernel, compiler, shell, editor, graphics, sound, and the HolyC programming language as one self-contained environment.

TempleOS uses 640 x 480, 16-color graphics, has no networking, and is intended for recreational programming. It is best explored in a compatible virtual machine such as QEMU, VMware, or VirtualBox, although some older x86-64 hardware may also be compatible. TempleOS is a bootable operating system image, not a Windows application.
