TrenchBroom
Create brush-based 3D maps for Quake-engine games with fast geometry tools, texture editing, and configurable game support.
About TrenchBroom
TrenchBroom is a free, open-source 3D level editor built for brush-based game maps. It supports Quake, Quake II, Hexen II, and additional games through configuration files, while exposing tools for geometry, entities, textures, layers, groups, point files, and portal files.
The editor is designed to make spatial construction feel immediate. Developers can manipulate brushes directly in 3D, align textures, inspect entity properties, organize complex maps, and connect the editor to an established compile and test pipeline.
